Victoria “Tory” Thomas has been a certified divorce financial analyst (CDFA) since 2011 and focuses primarily on the financial pieces of divorce for her clients and their attorneys. From 2011 through 2015 she worked as an independent consultant with The Life Solution Center of Darien, CT, a consortium of professionals who provide multi-faceted support to individuals experiencing major transitions and challenges in life. In 2015 Tory joined the law firm of Wofsey, Rosen, Kweskin and Kuriansky in Stamford, CT and, as the in house CDFA, teamed with staff attorneys assisting a wide range of clients. In 2020 she rejoined The Life Solution Center as an independent consultant.

Prior to becoming a divorce financial analyst Tory worked for several prominent names on Wall Street for over 20 years. Over the course of her career, she provided analytical and quantitative support to the mortgage finance, municipal finance, and equity derivatives departments of Morgan Stanley and, later, became a Director in the Equity Derivatives department of Deutsche Bank. Tory earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and, after leaving Wall Street, obtained a Masters of Science Degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University.

Having experienced divorce herself, Tory understands firsthand the importance of having a complete and clear understanding of the financial facts particular to each case. In her role as a CDFA, she works diligently with each client and their attorney(s) to develop an accurate financial picture of the case, and to understand the financial nuances and ramifications of any contemplated settlement agreement.
